The Mineral Ridge Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lordstown 76-40 on the road. With that victory, Mineral Ridge brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.
Mineral Ridge found their leader in underclassman Chase Moore, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Jonathan Rozzi was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Mineral Ridge's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Lordstown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Mineral Ridge will finish 2023 at home by hosting Leetonia at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th. As for Lordstown, they will head out on the road to face off against Champion at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Champion is on a three-game streak of home losses, Lordstown a 13-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
