The Brick Memorial Mustangs put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Moorestown 41-7 at home. Considering Brick Memorial has won five matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Connor Dietz, who rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 202 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes. Dietz is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jasaan Whittaker, who gained 81 total yards and two touchdowns.
Brick Memorial's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Moorestown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Brick Memorial will be playing in front of their home fans against Long Branch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Moorestown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
