Los Alamitos extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 15-8. Everything went their way against the Newport Harbor Sailors as they made off with a 15-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Griffins, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

As for Newport Harbor, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Newport Harbor's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilia 'Lily' Horsley, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Los Alamitos is set to challenge their familiar foe Edison at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Newport Harbor will face off against rival Fountain Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
