The Arrowhead Christian Academy Eagles waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat BASIS - Prescott 69-22 at home. Arrowhead Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arrowhead Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Asa Shaw, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Shaw hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Cristian DeLaCruz, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Arrowhead Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for BASIS - Prescott, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arrowhead Christian Academy will play host again and welcome Tri-City Christian Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 59.5 so far this season, Tri-City Christian Academy's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Arrowhead Christian Academy better be ready for a challenge. As for BASIS - Prescott, they will be playing at home against Orme at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Orme focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
