The Flinthills Mustangs won the last time they faced the Altoona-Midway Jets, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Flinthills took down Altoona-Midway 51-33.
Despite the loss, Altoona-Midway still got an impressive performance from Kieran Foster, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Foster scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was William Stackhouse, who scored three points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Flinthills' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Altoona-Midway, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flinthills will square off against Eureka at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eureka has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Altoona-Midway is on the road again on Friday and play against Chetopa at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Chetopa is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
