If Parkview wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hillcrest, they should've done a better job of containing Piersyn Ray. The Hornets came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 3-1 on Monday for which the team can thank Ray, who had 11 digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16.

Hillcrest's record is now 7-16-2. As for Parkview, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-20-1.

Hillcrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Logan-Rogersville on the 7th. As for Parkview, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Webb City on the 7th.
