Softball Recap: Potomac School Starts Season with Victory at Home

Potomac School gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the St. John's Cadets. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. John's moved to 1-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potomac School will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Saint James at 12:00 p.m. on March 29th. As for St. John's, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Bishop Ireton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be St. John's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
