Kingman Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Ray Bearcats 21-3. Considering the Tigers have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kingman Academy got a massive performance out of Emily Mathys, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Mathys has posted over her last 11 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Sanders, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.

Kingman Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .703. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ray only posted an OBP of .500.

Kingman Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Ray, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Kingman Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Anthem Prep on the 21st. As for Ray, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 26-8 loss against Pinon on the 20th.
