If Sherrard was feeling good fresh off their 18-8 takedown of Monmouth-Roseville on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kewanee Boilermakers on Friday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sherrard saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Matson, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another was Garrett Woodward, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
