Last Friday, St. John Bosco Academy lost to Horizon Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 76-62 margin.
Meanwhile, War Hill Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 65-59 to Trinity Classical. While losing is never fun, War Hill Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Trinity Classical is ranked 61st).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Nate Lacquement, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Adams, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
St. John Bosco Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for War Hill Christian Academy, they have yet to win a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 3-3 record.
