Basketball Recap: North Adams Piles Up the Points Against Paint Valley

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for North Adams on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Paint Valley Bearcats out of the water with a 91-64 final score. The Green Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Paint Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Braylon Robertson, who went 10-for-19 to rack up 28 points and three steals, and Carson M Free, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Those 28 points gave Robertson a new career-high. Jase Rinehart was another key player, putting up nine points and six assists.

North Adams is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Paint Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.

North Adams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paint Valley, they will host Unioto at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Unioto knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Paint Valley likes a good challenge.
