Bunn waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Nash Central Bulldogs. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

While Bunn won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-22.

Bunn's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Nash Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Bunn and Nash Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Wildcats will challenge Louisburg at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (96 vs. 217). Meanwhile, Nash Central (ranked 80th) will meet SouthWest Edgecombe (ranked 257th) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
