Thrall was led to victory by Nevaeh Irvin and Ashlyn Jarosek. Irvin scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals, while Jarosek scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds. Irvin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cynthia Flournoy-Walker, who scored 7 points.
Thrall's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Gatesville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Thrall will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Granger at 6:15 p.m. on December 19th. As for Gatesville, they will be playing at home against Jarrell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Jarrell is ranked 470th, while Gatesville is ranked 482nd).
