The Oak Harbor Rockets will take on the Woodmore Wildcats at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oak Harbor comes in on four and Woodmore on three.
If Oak Harbor beats Woodmore with ten runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Rockets came out on top against Genoa Area by a score of 10-5 on Monday.

05/03/24 @ Rossford | 2 |
The team relied heavily on Karson Lash, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Witt, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Woodmore sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over Old Fort on Monday.
Keil Almroth looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Cole Potridge was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Gavin Donley, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Woodmore's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of five runs across that stretch. As for Oak Harbor, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Oak Harbor has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Woodmore struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Oak Harbor took their win against Woodmore when the teams last played back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 14-7 score. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
