With a playoff game on the line, the Highland Prep Honey Badgers rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 67-56 win over the Braves. Winning may never get old, but Highland Prep sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Highland Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kohen Hill, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Hill is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 21 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Darius McKnight, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Highland Prep pushed their record up to 16-10 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for San Carlos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-13.
Highland Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. San Carlos also has no future games currently scheduled.
