The Concord Christian Academy Minutemen waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over Fairwinds Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Concord Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Concord Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Carlin Hollis - Homeschool, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hollis - Homeschool has scored at least a third of Concord Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keavon Bailey - Homeschool, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Concord Christian Academy pushed their record up to 4-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Fairwinds Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord Christian Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Calvary Christian Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 25th. Calvary Christian Academy is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Fairwinds Christian, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
