When it comes to explaining why University lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ian Uriarte. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Uriarte has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nasir Ledwith, who scored nine points.
University has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for St. Margaret's, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
University will be playing in front of their home fans against E at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. E has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
