ALA - West Foothills took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Northwest Christian 17-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Guardians have posted since September 13, 2024.

ALA - West Foothills was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Meanwhile, Peoria had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against Paradise Honors as they made off with a 29-7 win.
Peoria's win came from a few key players ALA - West Foothills will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dontay Tyson Jr, who picked up 64 receiving yards and two TDs.
Peoria didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Christopher Barnett led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.
ALA - West Foothills now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Peoria, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. ALA - West Foothills has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 170.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Peoria struggles in that department as they've been averaging 189.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
