Basketball Recap: Shanaryah Wright Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

There's no place like home for Camden, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-40 victory over the A.C. Flora Falcons on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Falcons last Wednesday, they had to take a 56-39 defeat.

Camden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shanaryah Wright, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Wright is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Jillian Rush was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Camden was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as A.C. Flora only racked up eight assists.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Naja Gray, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Gray a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Mickens, who posted six points and six assists.

Camden has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for A.C. Flora, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden will welcome Laurens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68 points per game this season. As for A.C. Flora, they will take on Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. A.C. Flora also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 53.1 points per game.
