Westminster Schools of Augusta was led to victory by Jaliyah Terry and India Williams. Terry dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds, while Williams dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least 25% of Westminster Schools of Augusta's points.
Hanahan's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camdyn Lawson, who scored 11 points. Lawson continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bri Johnsen, who scored six points.
Westminster Schools of Augusta's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Hanahan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Westminster Schools of Augusta will be playing in front of their home fans against Pinewood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pinewood Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Hanahan and Bishop England will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bishop England will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
