Keystone has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the North Olmsted Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Keystone focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday.
Keystone suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Brookside by a score of 54-52. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Keystone in their matchups with Brookside: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Keystone had strong showings from Liam Goran, who scored 18 points along with two steals, and Grant Hartley, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Hartley is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Emory Fedor was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
North Olmsted suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 71-46 loss at the hands of Fairview. North Olmsted's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Keystone has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. North Olmsted's record is now 5-5.
Things could have been worse for Keystone, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 36-21 loss to North Olmsted in their previous meeting back in November of 2017. Can Keystone avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
