Pike Central entered their tilt with Wood Memorial with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Pike Central enjoyed a cozy 56-42 win over Wood Memorial on Saturday. 56 seems to be a good number for Pike Central as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pike Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Quade Morton, who scored 22 points along with two steals. Morton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Gish, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
North Knox has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Shoals by a score of 47-40 on Friday.
Pike Central has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for North Knox, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
Everything came up roses for Pike Central against North Knox in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 58-27 victory. Does Pike Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Knox turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
