Greenville waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Kenowa Hills Knights as they made off with  an  11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won nine contests by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Emily Rice made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Greenville got a  massive  performance out of  Drew Galey, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run was  Galey's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aubrie Uebele, who  went 2-for-3 with four  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
Greenville's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-10. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kenowa Hills,  they are  on  a  15-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Greenville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair will be back at it again later today.
