This season hasn't been kind to the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fullerton.
Clarkson/Leigh's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Korbin Lemburg, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tucker Matthies, who scored 12 points.
Even though they lost, Clarkson/Leigh were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Fullerton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kane Wetovick, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Wetovick's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fletcher Dubas, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Clarkson/Leigh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Fullerton, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Fillmore Central is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
