Joliet Central has gone a perfect 6-0 against Bloom recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Steelmen will host the Blazing Trojan at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Joliet Central played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Yorkville, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Steelmen.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Joliet Central got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 26-24, 22-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Bloom got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Thornridge by a score of 2-0.

Bloom never let Thornridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24.

Bloom's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Joliet Central, they pushed their record up to 10-16 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Joliet Central skirted past Bloom 2-1 when the teams last played last Saturday. Do the Steelmen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazing Trojan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
