Columbia Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Parklane Academy Pioneers as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Carson Stuart was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Simmons, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Columbia Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in five consecutive games.

Columbia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Parklane Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

As of now, neither Columbia Academy nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
