The Adair Warriors waltzed into Friday's matchup with six straight wins but they left with seven. They breezed by Nowata at home to the tune of 52-0. Considering Adair has won four matches by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Cale Winfrey, who threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Ryan Wilson, who gained 146 total yards and two touchdowns.
Adair's victory was their third straight at home , which pushed their record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31 points. As for Nowata, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Adair will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sperry at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Sperry is ranked 90th, while Adair is ranked 104th). Nowata does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
