Sadly, the Ford Panthers are still looking for their first win of the season after 13 contests. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 4-0 walloping at the hands of Mabank on Wednesday. Ford has not had much luck with Mabank recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Ford dropped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mabank, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ford will take on Caddo Mills at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Ford's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Mabank, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kemp at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mabank is facing Kemp at the right time seeing as Kemp is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
