Bristen Wheeler was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times she's played.

Rylee Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. Kayla Matheny was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Even though they lost, Sloan-Hendrix kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive matches.
Sloan-Hendrix's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Tuckerman, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tuckerman hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .422. However, it's not like Sloan-Hendrix struggles in that department as they've averaged .402. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
