Basketball Recap: Scranton Prep Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Scranton Prep won the last time they faced Valley View and things went their way on Thursday too. The Scranton Prep Cavaliers enjoyed a cozy 50-36 victory over the Valley View Cougars. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cavaliers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Cougars are ranked 33rd).

Scranton Prep's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Valley View, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-1.

Scranton Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 75-57 win against Abington Heights on the 11th. As for Valley View, they will challenge Delaware Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
