After a string of five wins, the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by Archbishop Alter at home and fell 62-34. Archbishop McNicholas has not had much luck with Archbishop Alter recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Several Rockets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Ehlers, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jack Tucker, who scored nine points.
Archbishop McNicholas' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Archbishop Alter, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
Archbishop McNicholas' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Archbishop Alter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Linsly at 3:30 p.m. on January 27th. Linsly has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 210 points over their last three games.
