On the mound,  Burchill   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Gardner   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Burchill has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Burchill  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4, while  Gardner  scored a  run while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  DeMarcus Manning was  incredible,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Luke Young, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Union City won against Eisenhower  on Wednesday with seven  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Saturday. Union City had just enough and edged Maplewood out  7-6. The  victory was familiar territory for Union City who now have four in a row.
  Luke Wright was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Blake Turner was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Saegertown's win bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Union City, their victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-2.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Saegertown has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 7  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Union City struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Everything went Saegertown's way against Union City in their previous meeting  back in March as Saegertown made off with  a  12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Saegertown since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
