The Coal City Coalers will challenge the Pontiac Indians at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Coal City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.

Pontiac hadn't beaten LaSalle-Peru on the road since May 13, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. Pontiac narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past LaSalle-Peru 7-6.
Pontiac's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Coal City, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
