On Friday Duncan will take on MacArthur at 7:00 PM. Duncan don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Duncan came into their this week averaging 38.29 points per game, but Duncan fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They suffered a grim 7-34 defeat to Ardmore last Thursday. Duncan's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
As for MacArthur, they had a rough outing against Altus two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. MacArthur got past Noble with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 35-30.
MacArthur's win lifted them to 4-4 while Duncan's defeat dropped them down to 7-1. We'll find out if MacArthur can add another positive mark to their record or if Duncan can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of MacArthur's step.
