The Thurston Colts will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Roosevelt Roughriders at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Thurston is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Tuesday, Thurston came up short against Marist and fell 40-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Thurston has scored all season.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Roosevelt in a 49-31 victory over Reynolds last Monday. The victory was just what Roosevelt needed coming off of a 49-24 defeat in their prior game.
Thurston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Roosevelt, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
