On Saturday, everything came up roses for Union on the road against MTI School of Knowledge as the squad secured a 59-8 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-5.
Union got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenzy Ogden out in front who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Ogden continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Glory Ellis, who scored 10 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Union and bumps their season record up to 4-5. As for MTI School of Knowledge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union will take on Anderson Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for MTI School of Knowledge, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Phalen Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m.
