Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from JD Becton, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Zay Jenkins was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Wakulla unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 67-59 to Altha. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Port St. Joe's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Wakulla, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Things could have been worse for Port St. Joe, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 85-67 loss to Wakulla when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
