If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Plymouth. On Friday they will take on Merrimack Valley at 6:00 PM. Plymouth don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Plymouth put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Saturday. Everything came up roses for them against Pembroke as the squad secured a 48-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Plymouth, who now have seven in a row.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Merrimack Valley, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They came up short against Kingswood, falling 14-22.
Plymouth simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Merrimack Valley 49-6. Will Plymouth repeat their success, or does Merrimack Valley have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
