Jay?meir Goosby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gionni Zelasko, who scored 11 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Cardinal O'Hara and nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
Cardinal O'Hara will head out on the road to challenge Canisius at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Canisius is coming into the matchup with six straight victories at home, so Cardinal O'Hara is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against The Park School of Buffalo at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. The timing is sure in St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while The Park School of Buffalo has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
