The Franklin Sabers posted their closest victory yet this season on Thursday. They skirted past Kenosha Bradford 39-36. The win made it back-to-back wins for Franklin.
Lauren Capstran was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Rachael Jepsen, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Kenosha Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Franklin will stay at home for another game and welcome Brookfield East at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Brookfield East will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. Kenosha Bradford on the road again on Tuesday and play against Badger at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. One thing working in Badger's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
