Pembroke Hill and St. Michael the Archangel are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Guardians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Pembroke Hill is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
On Friday, Pembroke Hill made easy work of East Buchanan and carried off a 10-1 victory. Considering the Raiders have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pierce Jaffe looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eli Sitzer was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Miles Washington, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, St. Michael the Archangel's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 13-3 to Father Tolton. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Guardians have suffered since March 26th.
Colston Lyon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Mark Wiemann was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Pembroke Hill pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
