The Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders lost against the Denmark-Olar Vikings last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Bamberg-Ehrhardt was outmatched by Denmark-Olar on the road and fell 58-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bamberg-Ehrhardt has scored all season.
Denmark-Olar got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aveion Walker out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Walker has scored at least 25% of Denmark-Olar's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ry'Naisha Barnes, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Bamberg-Ehrhardt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Denmark-Olar, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bamberg-Ehrhardt will take on Edisto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denmark-Olar, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ridge Spring-Monetta at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Ridge Spring-Monetta focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Thursday.
