Walled Lake Northern extended the longest winning streak in Kensington Lakes - North this week by beating Howell, 41-27. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Knights.
Walled Lake Western and Farmington played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Walled Lake Western eventually emerging with a 31-28 victory. Kyle Bambard threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 32 yards in the win.
The Warriors' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Malik Green chipped in 82 yards. Jake Neracher helped Walled Lake Western's passing attack out by catching two balls for 46 yards.
Nik Heglin was the best wideout in the league this week as Walled Lake Western topped the Falcons. Heglin tallied two receptions for 95 yards.
Walled Lake Western's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bambard has thrown for 1470 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Neracher has 35 catches for 552 yards. Bambard also leads the league in rushing with 725 yards.
Walled Lake Northern led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on the Highlanders.
