The St. Michael the Archangel Guardians took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Harrisonville 59-26 at home. That's another feather in the cap for St. Michael the Archangel, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
St. Michael the Archangel got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lydia McVey out in front who scored 15 points along with 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Medlin, who scored 15 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
St. Michael the Archangel's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Harrisonville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Adrian the next time they take the court. St. Michael the Archangel will head out to face Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Harrisonville will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
