Crisp Academy extended their postseason success on Thursday against Westwood. They put the hurt on the Westwood Wildcats with a sharp  17-5 win. The result was nothing new for Crisp Academy, who have now won eight matchups by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
  Ansley Simpson was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Stillwell, who  scored two  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Crisp Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in September.
 Crisp Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Westwood, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last eight matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record  this season.
 Crisp Academy has already played their next game,  an  8-0  win against Thomas Jefferson Academy on the 18th. Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
