Meanwhile, Marlboro County fought the good fight in their overtime contest last Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. It was close but no cigar for Marlboro County as they fell 18-20 to Cheraw. The contest was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but Marlboro County was outplayed in the second half.
