Dexter won the last time they faced Monroe and things went their way on Friday too. The Dreadnaughts claimed a resounding 48-7 win over the Trojans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dreadnaughts' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Trojans are ranked 269th).

Dexter has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 32 points thus far. As for Monroe, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
