If the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers were riding high off their 49-28 takedown of the John Paul II Centurions last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Texas School for the Deaf took a hard 45-29 fall against Brentwood Christian on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Texas School for the Deaf of the 43-24 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
Sulianie Casella and Jeanique Davis certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Casella scored eight points along with 12 rebounds, while Davis scored four points along with five rebounds. Casella is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played.
Texas School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Brentwood Christian, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
