Queen Anne's County took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-3 win over St. Michaels.
Meanwhile, Kent County had to suffer through a rough 57-24 loss at the hands of Cambridge-South Dorchester. Kent County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-12.
Queen Anne's County's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Kent County, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Queen Anne's County came out on top in a nail-biter against Kent County when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 40-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Queen Anne's County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
