The Central Kitsap Cougars were the 30-23 winner over the Lakes Lancers when they last played one another back in September of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Central Kitsap lost to Lakes on the road by a decisive 41-23 margin on Thursday. Central Kitsap was down 41-10 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Among those leading the charge was Elijiah McChristian, who picked up 143 receiving yards and three touchdowns. McChristian's longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards. Tristan Baker was in the mix too, providing Lakes with two touchdowns.
Central Kitsap bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.2 points per game. As for Lakes, their win bumped their record up to 5-5.
Central Kitsap does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lakes also has no future games currently scheduled.
